[John K. Matyi] I would like to take credit for finding this great video, but this was sent to me by a reader of our blog. Someone I have known for many years. He is a true patriot who served as a Green Beret soldier in Vietnam and then came back and continued to serve this country as a police officer for many years. I tell you this because I want you to recognize the significance of the message in this short video.

The true strength of America is not in our Wall Street riches, not even in our beautiful country that stretches from sea to sea, it is the young men and woman who for over 200 years have come forward to fight the battles that have kept us free. The young man in this video has a wisdom well beyond his years. "Freedom is not free." Some will never really understand the significance of that short but powerful phrase, others know instinctually exactly what it means. We are the greatest country in the world, but it is because so many Americans are willing to make the ultimate sacrifice so others can experience that same freedom we possess.

Please send this to all who love America.

The day we lose our will to fight is the day we lose our freedom.
