The Weekly Gaff report for the Obama camp:So just where did he get that "Lipstick on a pig" remark from? You will just have to watch the video.
[John K. Matyi] I'll start off this morning with a video that, if you have been locked in the basement for the last 18 months or so, will bring you up to date. Then we will look at all the recent people the Obama handlers (no emails on that, it came from this video) now have to throw under the proverbial bus. At least all those 'under-the-bus' people will now have plenty of good company, after Obama's 'Lipstick on a pig' comment, I guess he will (should be) be under there with all of them.
Los Angeles Times: On Wednesday, South Carolina Democratic Party Chairwoman Carol Fowler told a reporter for the website Politico that Sen. John McCain chose a running mate "whose primary qualification seems to be that she hasn't had an abortion." —-South Carolina Democratic Party Chairwoman Carol Fowler who is the wife of the man who said that "God was on our side" because of the hurricane hitting New Orleans on the first day of the RNC convention.
Here is her apology [?]
So what is next? How about that Obama VP pick, Joe ('foot-in-the-mouth) Biden:Late in the day, Fowler issued an apology: "I personally admire and respect the difficult choices that women make every day, and I apologize to anyone who finds my comment offensive. I clumsily was making a point about people in South Carolina who may vote based on a single issue."
So, is this how the "Obama handlers" plan on preparing us for the Biden decision to bow out and then add Hillary to the VP slot? Or is this Joe's way of telling us he is having VP remorse? I have one more video for you this morning, I hope you enjoy it. It is from the "Right Stuff Comedy" of Newsbusted:Fox News: Joe Biden said Wednesday that Hillary Clinton “might have been a better pick than me” to be Barack Obama’s running mate.
The Delaware senator was responding to an audience member at a town hall meeting in Nashua, N.H., who criticized Clinton and said it’s a good thing Obama chose Biden over her.
“Make no mistake about this, Hillary Clinton is as qualified or more qualified than I am to be vice president of the United States of America. Lets get that straight,” Biden said in Clinton’s defense.
“She’s easily qualified to be vice president … and quite frankly, might have been a better pick than me. But she’s first rate. I mean that sincerely. She is first rate. So let’s get that straight,” he said.
