LifeNews: Complete Analysis of Election (Pro-Life Issues)

[John K. Matyi] I want to start out by thanking LifeNews for the great coverage they have given us on conservative issues in this election. Now that the election process is behind us I am sure many conservative Pro-Life voters are sitting at home or at work wondering what do we do now. I think the answer is obvious. We go back to the drawing board and start continue working. I have said this many times in the last couple of months; all politics are local. So our next step is to start looking for real conservatives to support in the next election (in two years) and work on electing only people that will support our conservative issues.
We know without a doubt that Obama and his new administration will be pushing a liberal agenda from day one (see the first article here on his pick for Chief of Staff), so we start out with an up hill battle. But then nobody ever said this was easy. They have four years to push their far-left agenda with few conservative elected officials standing in their way. All the more reason to increase our grassroots efforts and start fighting from day one.
I realize that for most of us we have to reset our priorities, continue with our daily lives, and move on. It appears that most voters in this country voted on the economy, not on social issues, and that means that the party in power gets thrown out (right or wrong) simply because they get the blame for all that is wrong for the last 8 years. The liberal voters may have won a major battle in this election cycle, but speaking as an 'old soldier,' they have not won the war. As the old adage goes, "Old soldiers never die, they just fade away." But this is one soldier (in all Right to Life issues) that will not fade away quietly.
